SSP UK, the travel concessions operator, has opened the first airport site under its Mexican burrito format Mi Casa and is believed to be eyeing a number of further openings for the fledgling brand this year.
Launched in Victoria Station last February, the group opened the fourth site under the brand and third this year at Terminal 1 Manchester Airport last week.
It has also rolled out the format to Waterloo Station and the recently redeveloped Birmingham New Street Station.
The concept, which predominantly offers burritos, replaced bagel unit Ixxy’s at Victoria station.
