Megan’s, the neighbourhood restaurant business, is looking to recruit 100 new team members, including a people director and operations director.

The Sarah Hills-led business went into the first lockdown in March 2020 with seven locations and 197 members of staff, and emerged out lockdown three with 12 locations open and 500 team members.

Over the last 15 months Megan’s, which is owned by Becky McKevitt and chaired by Rod McKie, has opened in Islington, Surbiton, St Albans and Clapham Common.

Hills, formerly MD of Bills and Wagamama, and Gill Clements, formerly FD of Byron, both joined during the lockdown year.

Hills said: “Megan’s is a wonderful business and it is an incredibly exciting time for us. We are one of the fastest growing businesses in the sector. We opened our second location at the end of 2017 and will open our 13th site this July in Wandsworth - Megan’s in the Tonsleys. The support we have had from both our communities and our landlords has been incredible and has enabled us to continue to grow, creating jobs in our communities and opportunities for our wonderful teams as they develop their careers”.
