McDonald’s is reported to be re-evaluating its toasted deli sandwich line in the US.
The company’s spokesman said that the group was considering whether to scale back or end tests on the products in four US cities.
Franchisees are thought to have complained of the items' high labour demands and requirements for $50,000 (£28,000) or more in new equipment.
