A Marco Pierre White New York Italian has been confirmed to open in Birmingham at the Holiday Inn at Birmingham Airport.

The restaurant, operated under franchise agreement with Black & White Franchising, will replace the existing Grill Room restaurant as the operator expands its ambition for franchising White’s restaurant brands.

Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport restaurant is the 19th venue to sign a franchise agreement and the fifth New York Italian to open in 2015.

Last year, managing director at Black & White Nick Taplin told M&C Report the group is looking to open 50 restaurants over the next five years. So far it has opened eight Steakhouse Bar & Grills, 10 Marco’s New York Italian and Wheeler’s of St James - currently a single site at Threadneedles.
