Mandira, the Turkish yoghurt bowl concept, has closed its site in Seven Dials, MCA understands.

The grab and go concept, which aimed to harness trends for healthier Mediterranean style eating, and gut-health, was popular with office workers, but less successful with tourists.

Co-founder Deyvi Sidi-Sarfati also launched a pop-up concept SIMIT by Mandira, at Old Spitalfields Market, serving Turkish simit bagels.

Sidi-Sarfati previously told MCA he is looking to expand Mandira into office hubs such as Canary Wharf and the City, and reach five or six sites, with delivery.
