Mitchells & Butlers is set to expand its new-format Pub & Grill offering to 19 O’Neill’s, writes Paul Charity. Pub & Grill was trialled in seven O’Neill’s sites — a roll out to a further 12 pubs is currently taking place beginning with Wardour Street, Leicester and Muswell Hill, with the remaining nine sites set to go live in the coming months. The new menu offers an enhanced selection of authentic Irish dishes and Irish inspired dishes, including the 10oz County Kildare Rib-eye Steak and 8oz Irish Lamb Leg Steak. Kirstie Yates, senior marketing manager at O’Neill’s, said: “The launch of the Pub & Grill Menu has been made following feedback from our customers, and we were keen to provide even more choice and better value for money than ever before. “We’ve been working hard to fine-tune the menu and we believe we’ve created something that will appeal to everyone, combining classic pub dishes such as the mixed grill with exciting combos, including the half rack of BBQ ribs and chicken breast.” There are 64 O’Neill’s in the UK.
