Mitchells & Butlers, the managed pub operator, has recently completed a clutch of conversions to its Pub & Kitchen format. The group has added four sites to the concept – which M&B says sits within its Vintage Inns collection – from its Ember Inns estate. These were the Castle in Wakefield, the Anchor Inn, Wiral, Rose & Crown, Kings Langley and the Fishery Inn, Hemel Hempstead. The group currently operates 31 Pub & Kitchen sites across the country, an upmarket dining concept that offers a standard of dining that lies between Vintage Inns and M&B’s so-called Project S pubs. The conversions were completed in September.
