Man vs Food London – the eating challenge-themed concept – has begun a rollout, with its second site due to open in Hounslow’s High Street at the end of this month.

The 160-cover restaurant, which opens on 30 September, continues the tradition of the debut site, which opened in Syon Lane in 2013, of offering a menu of different eating challenges. These include the metre-long hot dog (which cost £35 and sees the competitor win £30 if they complete the challenge in half an hour); the 30 wing challenge (pay £50, win £50) and the three and half kilo Big ol’ Belly Buster burger (pay £55; win £250 and free food and drink for the table).

The group was founded by Matao Osmani and Ward Scott.
