A total of £1m was pledged to charity at an event to mark the launch of a month-long anti-trafficking pop up at M Restaurants, last night.

Called M is Not For Sale, the pop-up is in support of charity Not For Sale – a global organisation that works to end human trafficking and exploitation through funding self-sustaining social projects in six continents to create opportunities and return revenue for those who need it most.

At the launch event, host, and founder of M Restaurants, Martin Williams was joined by more than 100 CEOs, including Lyndon Lea, CEO of Lion Capital, who successfully found 10 companies to donate £100k each for ten consecutive years, to the charity.

The M is Not For Sale pop-up will run throughout February and consists of a five course menu which takes inspiration from Peru, Vietnam, The Netherlands, Uganda and USA – countries where ‘Not For Sale projects’ have had the biggest impact.
