La Pistola, a new Mexican concept from former Lockhart and Shotgun BBQ chef Brad McDonald, has launched.

The concept, which is available on Deliveroo’s Roobox delivery-only kitchen in Canary Wharf, includes build-your-own taco sets, mission style burritos and wood-grilled steak bavette.

New York native McDonald was behind The Lockhart, backed by Gwen and Chris Wren, as London’s first upscale restaurant serving contemporary American South and Mexican cuisine, which closed in 2016.

He went on to launch the acclaimed smokehouse concept Shotgun BBQ in Kingly Court, Soho, also backed by the Wrens, but it closed in January.
