Tim Bacon and Jeremy Roberts, chief executive and commercial director respectively of Living Room, have been recognised with a special achievement award at the Northern Restaurant & Bar event.

Other recipients of the award this year are Paul Askew, chef patron of the London Carriageworks & the Art School and chairman of the Tourism Business Network, and Marc Wilkinson, chef patron of Restaurant Fraiche in Birkenhead.

The event organisers have compiled this year’s list of the top 50 most important and influential individuals within the northern hospitality industry. New entrants this year include James Douglas and Scott Munro, co-owners of Reds True Barbecue, and Kevin Georgel, who was recently promoted from managing director to chief executive of Admiral Taverns.
