Leon, healthy fast food chain, has further strengthen its pipeline in the capital, after securing a site in Hammersmith.

The 27-strong group, which is led by Joihn Vincent, chain has taken a c1,500 sq ft unit at Broadway Shopping Centre for an opening before the end of the year.

The company, which earlier this week appointed Kirsty Saddler as its brand and marketing director, hopes to open five new sites by the end of this year, with openings lines up in London’s Jubilee Place, Euston, High Street Kensington and Leadenhall.

It also has a strong pipeline for 2016 and is believed to be in talks on a site in Manchester.

Saddler has been brought in to lead marketing for the London-based brand following seven years at advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty as head of strategy.

Last month it appointed Tamara Griffin to the role of director of people and earlier in the year it strengthened its management team with the appointment of former Wagamama executive Antony Perring as its first chief financial officer and director of finance Chris Burford.
