Las Iguanas, the casual dining concept backed by Bowmark Capital, will open its latest site next month in Norwich.

The group, which recently opened in Edinburgh and Derby, will open at the city’s Riverside leisure development on 10 November, taking its estate to 39 sites.

It has lined up a further opening in Chelmsford for next year.

Earlier this summer, the company announced the appointment of Mos Shamel as its new managing director.

His promotion from operations director saw founder Eren Ali assuming the role of executive chairman and Ian Neill moving to non-executive director.

A sales process for the company is believed to be starting next year. The group, which was founded in Bristol in 1991, is believed to have appointed BDO as advisers.

Last year, the company reiterated that as its new site rollout gathers pace, there is an opportunity to move its estate beyond 100 sites within the UK.
