Las Iguanas, the Bowmark Capital-backed chain, has seen 17 of its 29 sites pick up a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top‐performing 10% of businesses listed on TripAdvisor Worldwide receive this prestigious award.

In addition Peach BrandTrack, which provides consumer ratings for the UK eating and drinking out

market, has named Las Iguanas top in six categories; coolest Brand, most exciting brand, most fun brand, best ambience/atmosphere, highest net promoter score, most likely to recommend.

Eren Ali, founder and managing director said: “It’s been a great year so far and this just backs up what a fantastic offer we have. Our food is better than it’s ever been with delicious fresh produce and our unique Latin spin, our new restaurants are proving a hit and we couldn’t ask for any more from our team who are just a joy to work with.

“Over the last four years we have set out to reinvigorate the brand and the results of this work are really proving a big hit with our guests. We have worked our socks off to deliver the best guest experience to be had on the high street and this recognition just makes us even more determined to keep upping our game.”

Las Iguanas will open in Cheshire Oaks in July, Wembley City in October and have a further six branches in the pipeline for this financial year, with target locations believed to include Bristol, Exeter, Chester and Swansea.
