Las Iguanas, the Bowmark Capital-backed chain, is closing in on securing a site in Swansea.
The group, which recently opened its 30th site at Cheshire Oaks, has applied for a new premises licence at the former site of Aspers Casino in the city’s Wind Street.
It recently secured a unit at the proposed glass-fronted development at the former Habitat building in Chester and its second site in Glasgow.
The group is expected to join the Restaurant Bar and Grill from Individual Restaurants at the Peper Street development in Chester, which is scheduled to open near the end of the year. Chimichanga and TRG’s Coast to Coast brand are also lined up to open at the development.
