Women working in hospitality are being invited to attend a London talk with top industry professionals this spring.
Ladies of Restaurants (L.O.R), the London-based collective of women who work in the sector, will host the event at Our/London distillery in Hackney Downs on 15 May.
Brogan Driscoll, The Huffington Post UK’s Lifestyle Editor, will moderate a debate with Chantelle Nicholson (Marcus Wareing Restaurants), Maxine Thompson (Polka Pants), and Sofia Franc (formerly Petersham Nurseries, Spring and The Square).
The panel will discuss how ‘guilt’ affects women day to day, and specifically in the restaurant industry.
The evening is also a chance for women to network and enjoy cocktails from Our/London and food by Crumble Food.
Ladies of Restaurants was launched in 2016 to give women in the hospitality industry the chance to meet up for support, advice and a glass of wine.
The collective is run by Natalia Ribbe-Szrok (Eighty Six List), Grace Willis (Spring) and Libby Andrews (Pho) and now has more than 300 members from all areas of the sector.
