Spanish bar and restaurant, La Tasca, has reached the final of the Latin-UK Awards (The LUKAS) in the Restaurant Group category.
The group said that it has been “revolutionising its business” over the last couple years, with an entirely new food supply chain and menu being totally re-designed with all Spanish produce now sourced directly from local suppliers across Spain.
Consequently, this has led to La Tasca’s recent announcement that it is the latest organisation in the UK to join an elite group of 11 establishments to gain full gluten-free (GF) accreditation from Coeliac UK.
There are currently 34 gluten-free dishes on the La Tasca menu. La Tasca is now calling on local people to vote and support the Spanish restaurant ahead of the finals later this year
James Picton, operations director at La Tasca, said: “We thrilled to be recognised in this year’s Restaurant Group category. We’ve worked tremendously hard to revolutionise the La Tasca brand and to be recognised amongst our restaurant peers is amazing. What’s more, we’ve already had a great year with our Coeliac UK accreditation and this award would add to our growing success.”
