The first KFC Drive-Thru at a motorway services is due to open at Welcome Break’s Cardiff Gate before the end of November.
It will be the 26th KFC operated by Welcome Break.
Rod McKie, chief executive of Welcome Break, said: “We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with KFC over many years and are delighted to be introducing our first KFC Drive Thru in Cardiff. We know from customer feedback how much they enjoy the KFC brand - going so far as to plan their journey to ensure they make a Welcome Break stop to enjoy this iconic British meal.”
Currently 350 of the 850 KFCs in the UK and Ireland are Drive-Thrus.
