Junkyard Golf has lined up a further site in central London, MCA understands.
It has been granted a new premise licence for 88 Worship Street, in the Broadgate Quarter development, in Hackney – the former site of Hakkassan Group’s HKK restaurant, with the footprint of the site also including the former high end Indian restaurant Darbaar (1 Snowden Street).
Mat Lake, founder of Junkyard Golf has previously spoken about his believe that there is scope for more sites across the UK.
It currently operates four sites: in London (Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane), Manchester (First Street), Oxford (Westgate Shopping Centre) and Leeds (The Light).
It is due to open its fifth site in the Liverpool ONE scheme in March.
