JRC Global, the operator of the JRC World Buffet chain, is to launch a new premium casual dining format called Shikumen this summer, in London’s Shepherd’s Bush, M&C Report has learnt.
The group, which currently operates four sites under its buffet concept, has secured a 7,000sq ft unit under the soon to open Dorsett Hotel at 58 Shepherd’s Bush Green.
It is thought that the group is also in talks on a further London site for the Far East-influenced concept with a further hotel operator.
JRC will open its next buffet restaurant, a 26,000sq ft site in Watford , this September.
The new c800-cover site will open on the first floor of the former TJ Hughes site in the town.
Last year, it secured the Cosmo sites in Cardiff and Swindon, plus the Aroma unit in Wood Green out of administration for the brand, while a further site opened in Ilford.
