Jimmy’s World Kitchen has appointed Patrick Harness, the former executive chef of the Belfry Hotel, as its new group executive chef as it gears up to open four new sites over the next 12 months.

Harness, who will oversee food development across the group’s estate and its central production kitchen, previously spent two-and-a-half years as head chef at Malmaison and before that five years as head chef at Jam House.

Jimmy’s recently Industry veterans Colin Mayes and Andrew Guy to its board as it gears up for its next stage of growth.

It recently opened its 10th site at Wembley’s Designer Outlet and has sites in Wandsworth and Brighton lined up before next April 2014. Sites agreed for 2014/15 include Swindon, Hemel Hempstead, Bristol and Coventry.
