The duo behind tapas bars Ivy’s and Little Ivy’s is opening a new restaurant in Hackney on 19 August called Lobster Bar.
The crustacean-focused concept is opening at 205 Richmond Road in Hackney serving a plethora of lobster dishes as well as other seafood dishes for breakfast through to dinner.
The menu, drawing influences from co-founder Christine Leone’s South American heritage, includes native oysters with cucumber and ginger pickle, seafood platters, fish cakes, croquette bites and truffle fries.
Lobster Bar will have 55-covers as well as seating outside.
Christina Lahaniati and Brazilian chef Cristine Leone founded much loved Ivy’s Mess Hall in Dalston in 2013, followed by its sister, Little Ivy’s, in Clapton in 2014.
