The Ivy Collection, the Richard Caring-backed group, has further strengthened its 2017 openings pipeline, after securing a site in Cobham, Surrey, MCA has learnt.

The group, which is in talks on a site in Marlow and one in the City, is understood to have secured the La Rive restaurant that opened in the town’s High Street last year.

Earlier this month, the company, which will open its next Ivy Café next month in St John’s Wood, confirmed it will open a site in Guildford next year at the Tunsgate Quarter development.

The company, which is set to open Soho Ivy Brasserie on the ground floor of 30 Broadwick Street (formerly St Lawrence House), will take 8,500sq ft. located over two levels, including an alfresco dining terrace, at the regeneration scheme in Guildford.

Caring is also believed to be in talks to take a space at 85 Piccadilly, again for a restaurant under his growing The Ivy brand.

The Ivy Collection currently operates five sites in London, under its Grill, Brasserie and Café formats, plus a site in Bristol.

It also has sites lined up in Bath and at the One Tower Bridge development next to Potters Fields Park.
