Jollibee has unveiled the new-look design that will be debuted in its next store opening in Leeds and flagship store in Leicester Square.

The Philippines-founded quick service brand, which is known as Asia’s answer to KFC, created the new look to evolve the brand for its target audience in Europe.

Jollibee is being led by Adam Parkinson, VP, market head, Europe; formerly of Burger King.

Patrick Abrams of Applied Studio and Vivek Bhatia of ICO Design worked on the design, while Mckinnon Nelson and Howes Percival acted on property and legal respectively.

The brand is planning to 10 new restaurants in the UK this year as part of a £30m expansion drive.

It currently operates three sites, in London, Liverpool and Leicester respectively, with Leeds, Leicester Square and Cardiff in the pipeline.

Sites in Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham are also being targeted for expansion.

Jollibee opened its first UK restaurant in London’s Earl’s Court in 2018.
