Dine Brands Global, the parent company of US-based chains Applebee’s and IHOP, is looking to bring its concepts to the UK.

Building off of the success of its dual-branded restaurants in Canada, the UAE, and Kuwait, Dine Brands International – an affiliate of Dine Brands Global – is set to showcase the concept at The British & International Franchise Exhibition, supported by the British Franchise Association, at the Olympia London exhibition centre next month.

The dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant leverages two brands to provide guests with two dining experiences under one roof, with Dine Brands looking to showcase the concept to potential area developers and master franchisees for the UK market.

The parent company operates a global portfolio across 18 markets under three brands: Applebee’s, a bar and grill concept; IHOP, a pancake house chain; and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, a fast casual Mexican-inspired concept.

“We are thrilled to participate in The British & International Franchise Exhibition and share our dual-branded concept, which has seen great success since our launch in other markets,” said Enrique Kaufer, Vice President, International Franchise Development at Dine Brands Global. “This event provides an excellent platform for us to connect with potential partners who share our passion for hospitality and are eager to be part of our growth journey.”
