It is understood deals have been agreed on a further four sites with a site in Barnstaple, Devon expected to open in the first half of 2019. MCA understands that a further site in Plymouth, at the Royal William Yard scheme, and a site in Swansea are both under consideration.
Boon said, “It’s an exciting time for Hubbox, we have pipelined some fantastic sites which will include great bars featuring beers and ciders from some of the Southwest’s finest breweries”.
“We’ve also been working on some exciting innovation to the menu and new to Hubbox are our bespoke-made charcoal barbecue grills, which will see us offering a Hubbox take on surf and turf with barbequed meats from Philip Warren our butcher and seafood from Matthew Stevens of St Ives alongside our usual Hubbox favourites”.
“Our goal is to bring some of Cornwall’s beach barbecue vibe coupled with our unique relaxed attitude to the Southwest and beyond.”
