Hop Vietnamese has closed its crowdfunding campaign after raising over double (205%) of its £750k target.

The Crowdcube campaign has raised £1.6m with a total of 734 investors, including former Eat and Pret managing director Andrew Walker.

The Vietnamese fresh food concept, which currently has five sites in London, was raising funds to expand the brand further throughout the city, as well as launching digital screen ordering technology through Vita Mojo.

Hop achieved sales of around £3.8m in 2018, with EBIDTA of -£0.7m, and serves an average of 12k customers per week.
