Herman ze German, the German bratwurst concept, is opening its third London site at Fitzrovia in October.

The group, which founded by Florian Frey and Azadeh Falakshahi, has secured a two-level site on Charlotte Street that will be its biggest site yet.

A spokesperson for the company told M&C Report there are expansion plans in the pipeline but “nothing has been confirmed”.

Herman ze German serves traditional wurst dishes that Frey and Falakshahi introduced in pop-up kitchens in Brighton before bringing the concept to numerous UK festivals before opening the first site on Villiers Street in September 2010.

Frey and Falakshahi opened their second site in Soho in summer 2013 and continue to operate pop-ups around the capital.

The three sites serve a traditional German Wurst menu made of meat sourced from a family butcher in the Black Forest. These include Bratwurst, chilli beef, Bockwurst, VeganWurst and Currywurst sausages, which are both gluten and lactose-free.
