Handmade Burger Company, the Birmingham-based burger chain, has opened its first site in Edinburgh and its fourth in Scotland. The company, which recently opened its second site in Glasgow, has opened its 12th site overall in Edinburgh’s Ocean Terminal scheme. The group, which is led by Chris Sergeant, is also set to open a site at the Central Village complex in Liverpool. The group currently operates further sites in Aberdeen, Gateshead, Glasgow, Hull, Leicester. Lincoln, in Meadowhall and Valley Centertainment in Sheffield, and Solihull. It has secured a site at the planned London Designer Outlet in Wembley, London. The proposed 280,000sq ft centre is scheduled to open in 2013.
