Grillstock, the smokehouse concept, has ceased trading, some 10 months after it was bought out of administration.
The company’s restaurants in Leicester and Bristol have closed and its overall website has been taken down.
Leonard Curtis confirmed Grillstock had ceased trading and was engaged by the company last week.
The concept, which had included Turtle Bay founder Ajith Jaya-Wickrema as an investor, was placed into administration last year through KRE Corporate Recovery.
A new company, including some of the group’s former directors, but not Jaya-Wickrema or founders John Finch and Ben Merrington, was understood to have bought back the five-strong business, which saw London E17 Walthamstow smokehouse closed.
Founders Finch and Merrington have since gone on to launch all-day dining concept Quay St Diner in Bristol city centre.
