Fulton’s Restaurants, the high street restaurant concept from catering firm Graysons Hospitality, has secured its second site and is keen to expand by the rate of around one or two sites per year, M&C Report has learnt.

The operator has bought Grahams on the Green in Writtle, Essex, which is to be renamed Fulton’s on the Green. Fulton’s opened its first restaurant, the Starr at Great Dunmow, in 2012.

“Our focus is on really fresh local produce and local sourcing,” director Jay Shaghaghi told M&C Report.

“We will be looking to take more restaurants on. We are planning on doing one to two per year, depending on how we get on with what we’ve got so far.

He added: “Every site will be slightly different but the overall idea is to provide really high quality dining experience but in a very casual way.

“It will be priced accordingly; it will be priced so the general public can use it.”

Graysons Hospitality also operates a number of catering operations including By Word of Mouth, an upmarket party caterer.
