Liverpool-based bar and restaurant operator Graffiti Spirits is launching its sixth venue in the city’s business district as a rodizio pizzeria.

Santa Maluco will open on Castle Street at the end of January by the independent group headed up by Matthew Farrell, John Ennis and Nick Thomas.

Farrell said: “Thankfully, we’ve been able to reach agreement on this landmark Grade II listed building which will add a layer of fresh, unconventional independence in the form of Santa Maluco, a rodizio pizzeria.

“We know from feedback amongst our target audience too that the business district is crying out for what we’ve been offering guests on the L1 circuit.”

Graffiti currently operates Santa Chupitos, El Bandito, Salt Dog Slims, 81 Ltd and a smokehouse and cocktails concept called Slim’s Pork Chop Express.

Founded in 2009 the trio has travelled the world to find inspiration for their bars and eateries around Liverpool.
