Graffiti Spirits Group is to open a new restaurant called Slim’s on Liverpool’s Bold Street later this summer.

The independent restaurant and bar group has acquired the former Love Thy Neighbour site, and is in the process of transforming it into an all-day eatery, inspired by high-end New York diners.

As quoted by the paper, co-founder Matt Farrell said: “We’ve given the menu for Slim’s a lot of thought and taken elements from projects that we have previously learnt from. The restaurant’s offering will have something for everyone including delicious burgers, both meat and vegan, to our renowned roast dinners.”

Last month the group announced it would be launching a new concept – a gourmet fried chicken shop and hidden retro gaming arcade – 16 Bit Chicken. It will replace its restaurant Slim’s Pork Chop Express on Seel Street, which closed

The group recently opened Duke Street Food and Drink Market, which features six independent food businesses, flagship restaurant Pilgrim – which appeared on BBC2’s My Million Pound Menu earlier this year – and three bars.
