Gordon Ramsay is to open a third Maze Grill in London on the site of the former Foxtrot Oscar in Chelsea on Royal Hospital Road that will open in May close to its Park Walk location that is due to open later this month.

The 55-cover restaurant will serve Manhattan-inspired grilled dishes including rare breed steaks, fish and poultry as well as sushi, sashimi and salads.

Stuart Gillies, managing director for Gordon Ramsay Group, said: “Following on from maze Grill Park Walk, we are delighted to be re-opening in Chelsea. Our flagship maze Grill in Mayfair continues to thrive and we are now growing the brand by extending into cosmopolitan neighbourhood locations. The Royal Hospital Road and Park Walk restaurants will offer casual, informal all-day dining and we will look at other locations for this already proven format.”

The Gordon Ramsay Group currently operates 24 UK restaurants including two Maze Grill sites in Mayfair and the Park Walk venue that is due to open 22 April.

This is the second restaurant conversion announced by the Gordon Ramsay group in recent months. In February it unveiled plans to convert Aubergine in Chelsea’s Park Walk - where Ramsay started his career 20 years ago - to the Maze Grill format. Both these new sites are due to open within weeks of each other.
