Good Stuff Eatery, the US-based burger and shakes concept, is planning to launch in the UK after securing a master franchisee for the country, M&C has learnt.

The concept, which was founded by the Mendelsohn family and headed up by high-profile US chef Spike Mendelsohn, has signed an agreement with Ramy Sleisman of Rising Sun Holdings to debut in the UK.

The company, which currently is part of the Sunnyside Restaurant Group, operates five sites in the US

It has retained property agents Charles Cohen at CB Associates and Dean Gambles & Co to help it secure its first handful of sites in the capital.

The family-run company opened its first site on Capitol Hill in Washington DC in July 2008.

Last year, it partnered with Gulf Restaurants & Parks Company Ltd to open its international location site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The concept offers a variety of over fifteen speciality burgers, hand-cut fries, homemade ice cream and shakes.

Sunny side also operates the We, the Pizza and Bearnaise concepts in Washington DC.
