Giraffe, the Tesco-owned restaurant chain, has opened its second outlet at Dubai International airport, a Giraffe Stop unit at Terminal 3, with its partner Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR).

The 600 sq ft site on Concourse B adds to the existing Giraffe restaurant at Concourse A. It offers dine-in and take-away options and trades 24 hours a day.

Emirates Leisure Retail Group chief executive Andrew Day said: “We are proud to be launching the latest addition to our giraffe family, Giraffe Stop at Dubai International Airport. Offering passengers the great taste of giraffe in an exciting new dine-in and take-away format is testament to our commitment to our successful partnership with Giraffe and of course, continually offering our customers world-class experiences.”

Giraffe head of franchise Sam Anstey said: “Through our existing successful partnership with ELR, we are delighted to bring Giraffe Stop to the UAE. This quick service restaurant is perfectly suited to the airport environment – it’s not just grab and go, diners can Stop and enjoy their meal as they are waiting to board their plane, or of course enjoy it on-the-go.”
