Giggling Restaurants, the operator of the Giggling Squid Thai restaurant chain, expects to open three new sites this year after agreeing a new banking facility. The chain, which is led by Andy Laurillard, will open its sixth site at the end of April on the former Puccinos café in Reigate High Street and is believed to have agreed heads of terms on a further two units. It said that it had bank funding in place to fund its expansion plans, after extending its bank facility with HSBC to just under £1m in total.
