Gaucho has confirmed the site of its planned outlet in Beirut and will open the restaurant next month.
M&C Report revealed in February that the Argentinean steakhouse concept was earmarking the Lebanon capital as its first overseas outlet.
The company has now revealed that it will be opening at the Phoenix Tower in Minet El Hosn, a site that overlooks the city’s Mediterranean coastline.
Ryan Hattingh, Gaucho’s international operations director, said: “It’s a restaurant concept that will be doing lunch, afternoon, pre-dinner drinks, dinner and events; a concept that is quite unique to Beirut and further enriches its culinary offerings.”
The company currently runs 14 restaurants in the UK.
