Fine Italian dining concept Gatti’s Ristorante has been added to the line up at City Point after securing a 5,000sq ft unit at the Ropemaker Street site.

The restaurant, split across two levels, will be the second site for Gatti’s, joining its existing location at Whitecross Place near Liverpool Street Station that has been operating for seven years.

The restaurant is run by head chef Domingo Marais and Jenny Carpenter who have built a reputation for fine Italian dining in the City for lunch and dinner served Monday to Friday.

Henry Wilson, leasing agent at Shelly Sandzer who acted on behalf of landlord Beacon Capital on the deal, said: “This deal helps to provide the development with a real local identity.  Demand in this location continues to grow and the addition of Gatti’s is certainly complimentary to the existing mix of dining brands that includes Notes, Pret A Manger and Wagamama.”
