Franco Manca, the pizza chain led by David Page and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, is set to join the line-up of operators at British Land’s redevelopment of Broadgate Circus, M&C Report understands.

The 10-strong group, which has openings lined up in Covent Garden, Ealing Broadway, Soho and Southwark for this year, has applied to open in unit T2 at the scheme that will re-open this spring.

British Land has secured Michelin starred restaurant Yauatcha, and The Botanist, the latest bar from ETM Group, to anchor the redevelopment of Broadgate Circus.

Other restaurants debuting in the City include Aubaine, Shoryu Ramen and Comptoir Libanais. The scheme will house 11 brands in total.

Franco Manca has taken the former Bella Italia unit for an opening before the end of March next year.

It follows hot on the heels of the group’s acquisition of the Chimichanga site in London’s Belsize Park.

The group has secured planning on a unit in Sussex Mansions in Maiden Lane, Covent Garden and on the former Oceanic Jewellers site in Berwick Street, Soho.

The brand will also open in Bermondsey Street, Southwark.
