Franco Manca is to double up in Brighton after securing a site at the city’s marina, MCA has learnt.

The group has taken a site next to the Gourmet Burger Kitchen outlet, which is expected to open in the summer.

The brand opened its first Brighton outlet – on Regent Street – last year.

The brand opened its 30th site this month at the Nova scheme in Victoria. It is currently on site for openings in Canary Wharf, Russell Square, Putney and Richmond.

David Page, chairman of parent group, Fulham Shore, has said that further openings this year are likely to be a mix of London and south England locations.

It has already secured a site at the Jackson’s Corner development in Reading for an opening near the end of 2017.

Richard Negus at AG&G acted on the Brighton Marina deal.
