Franco Manca, the pizza chain led by David Page and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, has secured the Chimichanga site in London’s Belsize Park, M&C Report understands.

The site was the home of the original ASK unit before being acquired by Prezzo for its Mexican brand in 2012.

The nine-strong Franco Manca, which is currently on site in East Dulwich, has a further four sites lined up for opening over the next nine months.

The group has secured planning on a unit in Sussex Mansions in Maiden Lane, Covent Garden and on the former Oceanic Jewellers site in Berwick Street, Soho.

The brand will also open in Bermondsey Street, Southwark and in Ealing.

It recently opened a site in Old Brompton Road, South Kensington.

Franco Manca is a Neapolitan Pizzeria, specialising in sourdough pizzas baked in a traditional wood-burning brick oven.

Brandon Elmon at Davis Coffer Lyons acted on the Belsize Park deal.
