Franco Manca, the pizza chain led by David Page and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, is eyeing a regional launch and is currently in talks to open a site in Bath, M&C Report understands.

Although not signed yet, it is understood that the 10-strong chain is in talks to take space in the city’s Milsom Place scheme alongside future openings from CAU and Burger & Lobster.

It is currently on site at units in British Land’s redevelopment of Broadgate Circus and the former Chimichanga site in Belsize Park.

Milsom Place is currently home to the likes of Carluccio’s, Cote, YO! Sushi and Jamie’s Italian.

The Bath opening will mark the third regional site for Burger & Lobster, which is also in talks to launch in Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds.

Franco Manca has also lined up openings in Covent Garden, Ealing Broadway, Soho and Southwark for this year.
