Franco Manca, the Fulham Shore-owned chain, has stepped up its search for sites outside London, as it confirmed a further two openings in the capital.

The group confirmed it will open in Maiden Lane, Covent Garden this July, and in Earl’s Corut Road in October, which will take its estate to 15 restaurants. It was advised by Shelley Sandzer on both deals.

David Sykes at Franco Manca said: “This is a very exciting time for us and Shelley Sandzer is now actively assisting us in a search for more sites both inside and outside of London.”

It is thought that the company is in talks on a number of sites in the regions, focusing on university towns, with a unit in Bath’s Milsom Place close to being secured.

Franco Manca at 151 Earl’s Court Road will trade across two levels, a 900sq ft ground floor and a 750sq ft basement. Opening in early October, it will have space for 64 covers in total.

The brand is also taking a site located at 36/39 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, in which Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of landlords Wolfe Nominees Ltd. Similar to the location in Earl’s Court, the site is spread across 750sq ft ground floor and 715sq ft basement levels with space for 80 covers. It is due to open in late July.

The rapidly expanding brand takes its number of London restaurants to 15 following this announcement, with the most recent opening in Belsize Park.
