Architects working on behalf of Pizza Express are to lodge a planning application this autumn for a floating restaurant in London’s Docklands.
The three-level structure, designed by Aukett Tytherleigh, is designed to have maximum transparency. The interior of the upper and lower decks, which have a capacity of 200 covers per floor, will be almost completely visible from the outside.
The site will offer riverboat berths and angling facilities.
