Steak concept Flat Iron is to open its ninth restaurant next month in London’s Marylebone.

Located on James Street, the 74-cover site will include a heated outdoor terrace and a ‘stripped back’ appearance, emphasising the reuse of found objects and designed by Red Deer.

The offer will include flat iron, sirloin and rib-eye steak, as well as a selection of sides and an all-new Wagyu beef burger.

The business has reopened seven of its eight restaurants in the capital since the end of lockdown in July, with just Aldgate remaining closed.

“James Street is a really exciting move for us, especially in such a challenging time,” said founder Charlie Carroll.

“Our mindset hasn’t wavered since we started as a pop-up. Great steak for everyone, unparalleled quality and doing a small number of things really well.

“We’re really happy to be bringing this to Marylebone.”
