Flat Iron, the ‘single-steak’ dining concept, has secured its fifth site – in Kings Cross.

The Charlie Carroll-led concept has exchanged on the former T.E.D Restaurants site in Caldenonian Road.

The 125-cover restaurant was secured through Dean Gambles & Co.

The site is laid out over ground floor and basement level and has a total floor space of 2,700 sq ft.

The group, which was founded in 2012, currently operates sites in Soho’s Beak Street and Denmark Street, Covent Garden and Shoreditch.

Carroll told MCA earlier this year that he believed the concept “could work anywhere in the UK”.
