Five Guys, the better burger brand, has secured a further site in the capital, after taking a unit in Richmond.

MCA understands that the company, which is on track to operate 79 sites in the UK by the end of the year, has secured the Urban Diner unit at 20 Hill Street.

The company recently acquired the Ping Pong restaurant in Westfield Stratford, for an opening just before Christmas.

At the same time, it has taken on a site previously designated for Las Iguanas in Colchester and has lined up a second site in Nottingham, near the Showcase Cinema in Redfield Way.

The group opened on the former Ed’s Easy Diner site in Wandsworth and in Oxford’s Magdalen Street next to the Odeon cinema and the former Lola Lo unit, last month.

Jake Bernstone at Stonebrook London acted on the Richmond deal.
