Feng Sushi, the Japanese fast-casual restaurant and take away concept backed by Luke Johnson, has opened its eighth site, in West Hampstead.

The company, which was established by entrepreneurs Silla Bjerrum and Jeremy Rose 10 years ago, has opened the outlet on the former Walnut in West Hampstead.

Feng Sushi said the new site marks an important evolution for the concept. “Whilst retaining the signature kimono pattern design and fish tanks of sister restaurants, there is an increased level of service, comfort and ambience for those eating in.

“The interior, designed by London architects Stiff + Trevillian, features wood paneling in warm colours, subtle lighting, tables for couples and smaller groups as well as larger ones and comfortable seating in blue leather.”

The site features 34 covers inside and 16 outside.
