Aussie-inspired all-day brunch concept Farm Girl has raised over £419,000 from 120 investors on Seedrs, past its target of £400,000 to fund its expansion plans.

It has a £9m pre-money valuation and launched a campaign earlier this month with the goal of reaching 10 Farm Girl sites and 25 Roll Baby sites by 2027. It plans to open one Farm Girl and four to five Roll Baby sites on average eac year, with several sites in the pipeline.

The business opened its first cafe in Notting Hill in 2015 and launched sister concept Roll Baby last year. It currently operates five Farm Girl locations in London, plus one site for Roll Baby, which specialises in healthy, gluten-free rolls and sandwich alternatives.

The company reported £1.9m in gross revenues between April to September - the first six months of its financial year - with a 169% increase on the same period in 2021.
